Seed Network: Paquebot

Tomatoes!

Paquebot lives in Wisconsin, USA. I know him first of all because I’m growing some of his garlic, but recently I ran into him again on a discussion forum. He’s offering nearly 200 tomatoes, organized into the year grown, giving an indication of the age of the seeds.  Tomato seed are normally good for about 5-10+ years, so age isn’t an issue if you plant them within the next couple of years.

He is offering them as part of the Seed Network, and in particular he said they are available to anyone, anywhere in the world.  You have to discuss payment or trading terms with him yourself.

If you’re interested in anything here, send me an email and I’ll forward it to him.

I hate to depart from tomatoes but, Paquebot is sorta famous for his alliums. I am just planting my first in-ground garden since hurricane Katrina destroyed our home. “Heritage Sweet” “Catawissa” and “Egyptian” onions would be a blessing. I am ready to send money or trade. Thank you in advance from an old Cajun! Ray Gremillion 504-813-7409

Hi Ray, I’ll make sure Paquebot gets your message. I’m also growing some if his garlic!

Paquebot is also famous for his Roma tomato! We have shared those romas with several good southern cooks and they all agree that his Roma is by far the best they have ever had. Just this morning, I see my first little Paquebot Roma plant popping though the soil…now I can starting making plans for this year’s salsa. I am so glad to know Paquebot is still offering seeds.
