New Turkish Seed Law

In preparation for joining the European Union, Turkey is considering adopting a European style seed law, which includes prohibiting farmers from saving their own seeds and obliging them to only grow certain permitted commercial varieties.

    I think this is a terrible law and shows how corrupt Turkish lawmakers are. They are probably being bribed. How dare they prohibit people from using their own seed???
